From Lushan 廬山 on the 14 in Renai Township 仁愛鄉 of Nantou County 南投縣, our group hikes down the dirt road toward Jingying Hot Springs 精英溫泉 in the Daluowan stream 塔羅灣溪 valley below. The Daluowan stream 塔羅灣溪 is a tributary of the Zhuoshui River 濁水溪, Taiwan's longest river. There are several hot spring pools across a broad area of the rocky river bed. In some places, people have built up the perimeters of the spring areas to create pools or dug out the gravel to deepen the pools.
Jingying waterfall 精英瀑布 is about 10 minutes upstream fromt he hot spring.
