Starting early Sunday morning, we meet Michael in DaHsi 大溪 who drives us to just beyond SiLing 四陵, between Baling 八陵and MingChi 明池 on the North Cross Island Highway 北橫公路. Opposite the trail going down and south towards SiLing Hot Springs 四陵溫泉, the trail goes up to the north toward JianShan 尖山. We hike down 45 minutes from the North Cross Island Highway 北橫公路 to SiLing hot springs 四陵溫泉, arriving at 10:30 AM
Bruce, Michael, Greg and Philip hike down the SanGuang river 三光溪 and back for three hours.
We turn around on the Sanguang river 三光溪 above the old broken dam near noon.
