The School of Arts and Crafts offers an eight year program
of instruction in the traditional arts to Bhutan's boys. The entire academy
is in a wooden building with a handful of classrooms. Outside the building,
raw lumber is cut into pieces by the students to be used for sculpture,
students work with the raw materials for paints and assemble canvases
for paintings. On the first floor their is a shop where students works
are for sale. |
