Seven hour walk in the Siji Forest Road 四季林道 with Bruce and Peter on a rainy day. The trail is mostly flat, between 1600 and 1800 meters after the initial ascent from 1200m. We walk among long ago cut down giant tree stumps. On the way up we are passed by a police jeep escorting hikers up the trail. Then we come across three Atayal on motorcycles who explain they are supporting a large group of hikes up to JiaLuoHu 加羅湖.
